Instructions for how to get started on the Affine Mainnet Beta App

In this article, we will focus on how to connect your MetaMask wallet to Affine Mainnet Beta App and enable the Polygon. After successfully completing these steps, you will be able to interact with the Affine Mainnet Beta App, buy tokens (USDC and MATIC using coinbase pay) and buy or sell baskets (USDC Earn and Affine Large)

Requirements

You need a browser with the MetaMask wallet extension installed to access the Affine Mainnet Beta App. You can install MetaMask on any of the supported browsers from the MetaMask Download page.

How to connect your wallet to the Affine Mainnet Beta App

Step 1: Navigate to https://app.affinedefi.com/connect. You will see the following page:

Step 2. Click on “Connect to MetaMask”, and a new popup window should appear. Approve all the necessary signatures to connect the wallet to the app.

Metamask will require multiple signatures through pop-ups to connect to the app

Step 4: After signing, you will be taken to the home page of the Affine Mainnet Beta App. If you are not currently on Polygon network, you will see a warning indicating that you are on the wrong network. Please click "Switch to Polygon" to initiate a network change on MetaMask. You will need to approve this change in MetaMask to proceed.
